Terms & Conditions — Skeptiss

Skeptiss is a project and change-order management platform for contractors and service businesses. It allows contractors to document project stages, capture photos and scope changes, and give clients access to a real-time project portal for updates and approvals.

You must provide accurate information when creating a Skeptiss account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at skeptissapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Skeptiss offers a trial period followed by a recurring monthly subscription (Basic or Professional plan). By starting a trial, you authorize Skeptiss to charge your payment method for the trial fee, and to automatically continue billing at the applicable plan rate once the trial ends, unless you cancel first. Payments are processed by Stripe; Skeptiss does not store your full payment card details. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

Contractors may invite clients to view project information through a PIN-protected portal. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of information shared with their clients through Skeptiss and for obtaining any necessary consent from clients before sharing their information through the Service.

Skeptiss and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content you upload (photos, project notes, documents) remains yours; you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service to you and the clients you've invited.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Skeptiss and delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting skeptissapp@gmail.com.

Skeptiss is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skeptiss and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between you and your clients.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Skeptiss after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
